The Cafe is named after Juliet Patricia Swanzy Morgan Swenson, a fifth generation descendent of Gerrit Judd who acquired Kualoa in 1850.  Julie (affectionately called Aunty Pat) was born in 1921 and  was a genuinely caring person with a good heart, a lovely voice and a knack for writing and story telling. She had a steadfast devotion to Kualoa and yearned to open a restaurant at the Ranch one day.
